Membership

We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30–9.30 pm at The Pavilion, Church Lane, Balsham, CB21 4DS. No experience is necessary; the ability to read music, while helpful, is not required. Our current fee is between £45 and £55 per concert term (depending on the number of rehearsals and the cost of venue and music hire). In addition, there is an annual membership fee of £5 per choir year (September to May), payable annually in September or on joining the choir if after September.

Members receive communications about choir matters by email. You can join at any time, but it is advisable to join at the start of the term, if possible, as we begin rehearsing for the next concert straight away. The choir is run by a Committee in conjunction with the Musical Director, and Committee members usually serve for three years. Our Annual General Meeting is held in late September or early October each year.
